Accenture experts have studied the background and main characteristics of economic downturns and upturns for the past decades. One of the key issues of the study was comparison of corporate strategies at different stages of the economic cycle. The main aim of this research was to determine which strategies not only help corporations to overcome crisis, but also make the companies stronger and ready for recovery.
